With all the flaws of people, a heavenly light still shines and offers a moment of hope, blessings of renewal and creativity unmatched. - Kai Alexxandar InfoInformation: Artist Statement:I consider myself an artist first, photographer second, so I venture to find the artistic aspect of every scene and its appropriate mise-en-scène, what the French typically refer to as everything in a scene. In this case, everything composing the borders of my cameras viewer. Art is a temporal measure, capturing action, audio, emotion, meaning, thought and vision of a conceptual observation at a particular moment. Therefore, photography is capturing certain aspects of a moment. To capture a moment is an act of maintaining a part of some creation. All of creation is a divine masterpiece; therefore, to create is divine. A divine gift given solely to humans is the ability to create, reproduce and improve that in existence. Everyone should appreciate art, even if one is unable to create, perform or produce works of art. I find the creation of a work of art to be awe-inspiring, and such an act is when I feel I am closest to an overarching, universal consciousness. Thanks to the beauty that is humanity. Model Information:Most models, some of whom are literally encountered on city streets and roads, public places, college campuses and elsewhere, have unique looks. That distinctiveness makes them photograph worthy, a moment to capture individuality. When a model poses for a session, expectations are an agreement to aid in the creation of art first. Inspiration is always helpful during a shoot. More important, inspirational, cautiously carefree models are the best with whom to work. Typically, trade assignment/photoshoots (TF*/TFCD) are arranged with models unable to pay. This means a model agrees to do artistic shots in return for free photos on a compact disc or via electronic transfer. If other, certain stipulations exist, unless agreed upon, please reconsider asking for a session, unless paying for a specific shoot.Also, contracts are part of the process with models, where no one sees the shots before you do. That way, an agreement to which shots will best suit your interests in the field of modeling or other is a discussion process; therefore, I only use the shots agreed on from the photo shoot for my public portfolio. Eccentric is the word to describe my picture-taking process, but results are the objective and to help some clients find agencies and other artists/photographers occasionally. Models are expected behave professionally: arrive on time, come prepared, follow directions when needed, and be healthy (if you want to try modeling professionally). If models want to model as a serious profession, assistance is available for that, but the field is a difficult one to maneuver and very competitive.To be a model or to inquire about one of my models, please see the contact page. He started photography as a means to capture concepts only he could see at that moment. He wanted to share those visual observations with the world. He started photography after a brief stint as a model. He found being in front of the camera as a model not for me. The camera people were often rude, and the models arrogant. As he observed the photographers, he found their shots were lacking certain elements, a certain compositional flair. Soon, he began thinking he could do that and maybe something more unique .
